We are ready to get everyone reading @ McDaniel- students, parents, and teachers! This year we will have ONE BOOK, ONE MCDANIEL (just like the Free Library has One Book, One Philadelphia). Stay tuned for the title.

 

In the meantime, sign up for a Scholastic Parent’s account to get great deals on books. Your child’s teacher will have a class code to ensure the class gets points for reading!

 

Also, there are a number of eBooks out there- books that can be downloaded to a phone, iPad/Pod, or Kindle. Scholastic has the Storia app that can be on Android or Apple devices. Amazon has a Kindle app that goes on most devices. iTunes lets you download to its installed Book app on Apple devices.

Lexia Core 5 has an app that can be found either in the iTunes store or at Google Play (devices must meet minimum requirements).

 

TumbleBooks has great books to read online. Ask kids for the school login info!
